Si-Cluster is a powerful and constantly growing innovative industrially-led cluster in Greece which aims at the development of industrial and scientific excellence in specific fields of Space technologies and Applications. Strongly focused on the region of Attica, and having the critical components of an ecosystem capable of developing and attracting high impact research, development and entrepreneurship, si-Cluster competes the fast-growing market of space technologies and applications at European and global level.

Particular emphasis is placed on the use of GMES, mSatCom and GNSS technologies and their fusion with available in-situ terrestrial assets, in the security of Border Surveillance, Critical Energy Infrastructure Monitoring, Coastal Environmental Monitoring, and Agricultural Monitoring.

Being a member of this cluster, NEUROPUBLIC participates in the collaborative project ACRITAS that pursues research, design and development of integrated earth monitoring applications, leveraging and combining space data and technologies. The company has the role of task leader for the parts of the project regarding data fusion and data validation of the applications related to Agriculture.

Within the framework of application development, NEUROPUBLIC will explore the possibilities of combined use of satellite images and existing geospatial data for change detection in agricultural land, in accordance with the eligibility rules established by the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). Furthermore, the company will focus on the development of automated crop monitoring methods with the goal of supporting agricultural subsidies controls.
