DataBio is the Horizon 2020 Large Scale Pilot project on Big Data applications for Agriculture and Bioeconomy

 

DataBioIt aims at the implementation of Big Data solutions in order to boost bioeconomy and especially agriculture, forestry, fisheries and aquaculture. The project has a total budget of €16,2Μ and its consortium consists of 48 partners (12 large enterprises, 20 non-profit organizations and 16 SMEs, including NEUROPUBLIC).

The project will deploy pilots in the areas of agriculture, forestry and fisheries/aquaculture. NEUROPUBLIC is responsible for the coordination of the Precision Agriculture pilots in all EU countries involved and shall develop technology solutions for the support the Common Agricultural Policy of the EU.
