NEUROPUBLIC’s Role in Smart Farming and Space Technologies

Mr. Kokolakis presented NEUROPUBLIC’s experience in developing and operating a nationwide network of IoT stations, entirely designed and manufactured by the company. As he noted, the ground-based stations provide high-quality data which, when combined with satellite data—offering excellent acquisition frequency, multiple forms of information, and above all, high reliability—enable both the gaiasense smart farming system and its users to gain a detailed and up-to-date picture of plant and soil conditions, inch by inch.

Professor Spyros Kokolakis also referred to the National Microsatellite Network, an emblematic project currently under development and expected to be completed within 12 months. NEUROPUBLIC plays a key role in its implementation, contributing its expertise and experience in data management and geospatial information applications.

Sustainability and Stability: Prerequisites for Investment

During the discussion, emphasis was placed on the need for a stable and reliable environment in order to attract and retain investments in the space and high-technology sectors. Mr. Kokolakis highlighted the importance of supporting both companies with strong experience and financial foundations, as well as startups that bring new ideas to the table. Strengthening synergies through targeted programs can lead to innovative new services and a more robust space-technology ecosystem in Greece.
