Agricultural and Forest Parcels’ Land Use Advisory Service

The “GAIA DASIKA – Agricultural and Forest Parcels’ Land Use Advisory Service” application aims to inform the interested parties with regard to the characterization of their parcels and to issue personalized solutions.

In short

The “GAIA DASIKA – Agricultural and Forest Parcels’ Land Use Advisory Service”  application has the dual aim of informing the interested parties with regard to the designation of their parcels in areas where a forest map has been posted, and of issuing personalized, automated solutions, based on the regulatory requirements that stem from the Integrated Management and Control System (OSDE) declaration and the legal obligations from forest law.

The entirety of forest law that pertains to the designation of the coverage and the actions which need to be undertaken for the purpose of re-designating the parcel in question, has been codified and inputted to the application in the form of rules.

The application offers fully personalized updates regarding the coverage that possibly present themselves per parcel in the Forest Map, along with the respective designations and the consequences (loss of rights, loss of activities) which may occur from not implementing actions.

Moreover, aided by interdependent questions, the application suggests a series of actions that stem from forest law, which may be utilised for the unobstructed operation of the agricultural holding, listing the respective calculation of the fees per action.

The advantage of the GAIA DASIKA application is that it correlates the information and obligations of the Single Aid Application to the forest law, for the purpose of keeping the interested parties up-to-date and suggesting specific actions.

The advantages that stem from using this particular service are:

  • Timely and reliable updates for the producers
  • Personalized evaluation and suggestion of a solution based on the producer’s Integrated Management and Control System (OSDE) declaration and forest law.
  • Calculation of the objection fees and estimation of the buy-out and designation amendment fees
  • Automated filling of forms and compiling of topographical diagrams
  • Ensuring that the basin and other agricultural subsidies will be received
  • Providing updated solution based on the amendments in forest law that will occur during the objection submission.
