News ◦ 25—06—2021

NEUROPUBLIC’s gaiasense smart farming system is featured in a report on the digitization of the agricultural sector in Greece, that was recently published by Germany Trade and Invest.

The report provides an overview of the Greek agritech ecosystem, with an emphasis on smart farming and digital agriculture. Smart farming is highlighted as the mean to help the transformation of the Greek agricultural sector, in order to increase exports, help farmers produce more efficiently and sustainably, and increase their income.

NEUROPUBLIC’s Outreach & Networking Manager Dr. Vassilis Protonotarios mentioned that “A lot of innovation is developed locally in Greece, and Greek agriculture can only benefit from this“, pointing out the use case of NEUROPUBLIC, which has developed the first and only large-scale Internet of Things infrastructure in Greece, installing thousands of wireless sensors, designed and manufactured in-house by NEUROPUBLIC, on agricultural land.

We would like to cordially thank Mrs. Michaela Bailis, Director for Greece and Cyprus of Germany Trade and Invest, for reaching out to us and including NEUROPUBLIC in the report.

You can find the report (in German) here, with additional information available here.
