NEUROPUBLIC’s participation in SMARTWINERY stakeholder event on smart winemaking

NEUROPUBLIC proudly participated in the 2^nd Spanish Stakeholder Event organized by the SMARTWINERY project consortium on May 6^th 2026 at AGROVIN’s facilities in Alcazar de San Juan, Spain.

During the event, our Technical Project Manager, Odysseas Sekkas, presented the SMARTWINERY data management and decision-support system developed by NEUROPUBLIC, showcasing how advanced digital technologies can support and optimize modern winemaking processes.

Spanish grape growers, winemakers and wine sector professionals, from the surrounding regions had the opportunity to learn more about:

🔹 the SMARTWINERY project and its objectives to enhance the competitiveness of small and medium-sized wineries through digital transformation
🔹 the operation of the SMARTWINERY connected winery demonstrator
🔹 the results from the first SMARTWINERY vinifications
🔹 the potential of precision agriculture solutions to support a more sustainable, efficient, and high-quality wine production process

As part of the event, participants toured the project’s pilot facilities and tasted the wines produced within the SMARTWINERY initiative.
