AgTech7  is a european project funded by the Erasmus+ Programme. It focuses on the development of solutions for addressing the lack of inter-disciplinary knowledge and multi-actor mobilisation for future agritech disruptive applications on the entire farm-to-fork food-chain.

In short

“AgTech7: A Knowledge Alliance of Agribusinesses, Academia and Business Angels for Disruptive Farm-to-Fork Agri-Tech Training” will advance the above groups’ knowledge necessary to facilitate:

1) interdisciplinarity in agro-education, integrating engineering innovation, agricultural know-how and entrepreneurial skills,

2) advancement of European angel investors’ and startup service providers’ understanding on the emerging agri-tech future market opportunities

AgTech7 will provide solid educational activities focused on high-tech agribusiness and entrepreneurial skills by engaging agribusinesses, business angels and incubator managers with HEIs’/Research Institutes’ students of different backgrounds (engineering, business and agricultural sciences) and levels (graduates, postgrads, PhD candidates, etc.).

The project will equip European HEIs’/Research Institutes’ students and ‘in-house’ incubator managers, agribusiness entrepreneurs and angel-investors with the necessary skills and knowledge in seven initially defined farm-to-fork agri-tech thematic priorities.Α

AgTech7 is coordinated by the University of Novi Sad (Serbia), and the project consortium consists of the BioSense Institute (Serbia), the European Business Angel Network (Belgium), the South East European Research Centre (Greece), Yasar University (Turkey) and the Çamlı Feed Animal Husbandry Co (Turkey), along with NEUROPUBLIC.
