Operational Programme “Digital Convergence”

The project has to do with the development of the Farmers’ and Agricultural Holdings’ Registry (MAAE) the Traders’ of Agricultural Products, Supplies and Inputs Integrated Registry (EMEAPEE) as well as of the necessary digital, personalised, high quality and availability, interactive services for the contributors to the Agricultural Economy, as well as toward the Agencies that enforce, implement or are involved in Agricultural Policy.

The MAEE and EMEAPEE contain basic details for all the adult natural persons, the legal persons that have agricultural activity (plant-, animal- or fish-related), the details of their holdings, as well as the details of traders and their trade activities. From the sum of the services and information of the project, an integrated mapping and management of the details of the agrarian sector is guaranteed, which is dynamically accessible by the productive factors and by every Organisation and Agency of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food.

Highlights

It is aimed:
  • At natural and legal persons that engage in agricultural activities as well as at the traders of agricultural products, supplies and influxes, pharmaceutical companies, certified veterinarians.
  • At competent bodies such as the M.R.D.F., OPEKEPE, ELGA, Agricultural Development Directorate (DAA), Centre for Propagating Material Certification Control and Fertilizer Control (KEPPYEL), the Benaki Phytopathological Institute (B.P.I.), etc.
More specifically, the Objective is:
  • The creation of the new Farmers’ and Agricultural Holdings’ Registry (MAAE) with alphanumeric and geospatial data, and capability of electronic transaction processing.
  • The creation of the new Traders’ of Agricultural Products, Supplies and Inputs Integrated Registry (EMEAPEE) and capability of electronic transaction processing.
  • The creation and/or upgrading of the sectorial Registries.
Technical Achievements
  • 4 web applications in an unified Database service 10 Registries and interoperate with the rest of them.
  • A single, modern technological Platform.
  • Interconnection and communication among all Registries.
  • Complete identification of the producers.
  • Integration of “back-office” and “digital services” in a single application and technological platform. The access of different user groups is dynamically determined by the user management system.
